Everlane: Everlane is an American direct to consumer clothing brand founded in 2010 by Michael Preysman and Jesse Farmer, known for publishing the cost breakdown and factories behind its products. After years of majority ownership by L Catterton, it agreed in May 2026 to be acquired by the fashion platform Shein. The deal made it one of the most discussed ownership changes among digital native brands.
Missguided: Missguided is a UK online fast-fashion brand for young women, founded in 2009 by Nitin Passi. After entering administration in 2022 it was bought by Frasers Group, which sold the brand and intellectual property to Shein in October 2023. It illustrates the rise and restructuring of the UK online fast-fashion sector.
Romwe: Romwe is a Chinese online fashion retailer owned by Shein, which acquired it in 2014. It sells low-priced, trend-led clothing online.
