What is Oficina Reserva?
Oficina Reserva, often simply called Oficina, is a men's fashion brand created within Grupo Reserva, the Rio de Janeiro company behind Reserva. Reserva is today part of Azzas 2154, formed in 2024 through the merger of Arezzo&Co and Grupo Soma.
History
Oficina was launched in 2018 as a new menswear label of the Reserva conglomerate, which at the time also included Reserva Mini, Eva and Ahlma. Reserva chief executive Rony Meisler and Felipe Siqueira were named as partners in the project. The first store opened at Shopping Leblon in Rio de Janeiro.
Products and positioning
The brand concentrates on well made essentials and tailoring:
- T-shirts, polo shirts, trousers and blazers
- Shirts in Egyptian cotton
- Made to measure tailoring
- Custom shirtmaking with around 300,000 combinations of fabrics, collars, cuffs and monograms
Its stores were conceived as service spaces, offering alterations through Ateliê Oficina, style consulting and a barbershop.
Why it matters
Oficina shows how Brazilian fashion groups use separate labels to address specific menswear occasions, here combining tailoring services and retail experience to reach a more formal customer.
