History
The company changed its name to BTX Group in 2006, the year after it was sold to the private equity fund EQT in 2005. In the 1980s and 1990s the group took over the labels 4You, b.young and Blend. In 2012 three design divisions with the labels Gestuz, Fransa and ICHI were sold to DK Company.
Products and positioning
BTX Group specialises in women's clothing at competitive prices. Lex notes that Brandtex was among the first in Denmark to launch collections made entirely in industrial sewing. The group's brands today are Brandtex, Imitz, Ciso, Signature and Jensen, and Jesper Roe has been chief executive since 2011.
