What is PRISM?
PRISM is a London based resort wear brand. Its range of sunglasses, optical frames, swimwear, cover-ups and sandals is described by the brand as sleek, minimal and contemporary, drawing on vintage styles to create pieces that are understated and timeless.
History
Founder Anna Laub had no formal design training but a background in fashion media, including as head of content for Europe at the trend forecaster WGSN. Unable to find stylish optical glasses for herself, she produced five styles with a family-run factory near Venice in 2009. Colette and Dover Street Market were early stockists.
PRISM opened its first store on Chiltern Street in London in 2014 and won Emerging Accessories Designer at the British Fashion Awards in 2015. In 2016 it launched PRISMoji, an app presenting its collection in emoji form.
