History

The two designers started out in fashion in Seville in the late 1970s, working in the design department of the company Disart. They moved into bridalwear in 1984 and presented their first collection in New York in 1985. For many years the brand showed its collections twice a year on the Madrid runway.

In 2015 the Toledo-based group Six Valves, already a licensee of Victorio & Lucchino Jeans, agreed to take over the brand with plans to relaunch it in two lines.

Products and positioning

The label offers womenswear collections, made-to-measure work from its own atelier and occasional footwear sales from its runway shows. Recent work includes a Flamenca 2024 collaboration celebrating flamenco heritage.

Much of the brand's recognition in Spain has come from licensing, with partners covering bridalwear, eyewear, rugs, home textiles, jewellery and fragrances, the latter held by Puig.
