What is Bad Birdie?
Bad Birdie is a premium golf apparel brand created for the modern golfer. Its mission is to make golf clothing that "swings as hard as you do, stands out as much as you want to", in contrast to the traditionally conservative look of the category.
History
Founder Jason Richardson, who started caddying at a country club at the age of 12, felt golf apparel was boring. He launched Bad Birdie as a side project from his apartment, with the first day of business dated 1 May 2017, and early warehouse operations ran from an employee's bedroom. The company has since pitched on Shark Tank, signed professional golfers and set up a high school programme.
