Fashion brands from the United States

This directory lists 505 fashion brands from the United States. The largest groups are premium and contemporary labels, sportswear and outdoor brands, digital-native and direct-to-consumer companies, and footwear. Price positioning sits mainly in the premium and mid-market tiers, with a smaller luxury segment. New York and Los Angeles are the main headquarters, followed by San Francisco and Philadelphia.

Distribution is broad. Most brands sell through wholesale partners, almost all run their own e-commerce, and many also operate their own stores. A number of labels belong to larger owners such as Authentic Brands Group, VF Corporation, Gap Inc. and Wolverine World Wide. Heritage names include Brooks Brothers, Woolrich, Levi's, Tiffany & Co. and Carter's, while a wide field of younger online-first labels reflects the strength of direct-to-consumer retail in the American market.
