History

E. Gluck began as E. Gluck Trading Company, a subsidiary of Armin Corporation until the late 1970s, and the Armitron name combines "Armin" and "electronics". In the 1980s Armitron was associated with athletes including Jerry Rice, Boomer Esiason, Darryl Strawberry, Dwight Gooden and Larry Bird. It is an official sponsor of the New York Yankees and has been a clock sponsor at Yankee Stadium.
