Mass market and fast fashion brands

This directory covers 203 mass market and fast fashion brands. The United Kingdom and the United States have the most, followed by Spain, France, China and Japan. The segment includes high-street chains, value retailers and vertically integrated fashion companies that offer frequently changing collections at accessible prices for a broad audience.

Unlike most other segments, mass market and fast fashion brands rarely sell through wholesale. They control their distribution directly: nearly all run their own stores, and almost all sell through their own e-commerce. Several large groups operate multiple chains, as Inditex does with Zara, Pull&Bear, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho and Zara Home, and H&M Group with H&M, Weekday and Monki. Uniqlo is another prominent example. The vertical model links design, production and retail closely, allowing short reaction times to demand.
