History
The business began in the 1970s as Faride Fashion, a small boutique in Cali founded by Carme Faride Hazzi. Her son, Carlos Alberto Acosta, took over in 1994 and renamed it Studio F. The group launched ELA in 2002 as a more affordable brand and later added Studio F Man for menswear.
