What is Tezenis?

Tezenis is the most affordable of the underwear brands in the Oniverse group. Its website describes fashionable items at small prices across lingerie, pyjamas and nightwear, socks and tights, sportswear, swimwear and casual clothing. Ranges are offered for women, men and children, including matching family outfits.

History

Tezenis was created within the group founded by Sandro Veronesi, who started Calzedonia near Verona in 1986. The group added further specialist brands over time, including Intimissimi for lingerie in 1996, Tezenis as a younger and lower priced underwear offer, Falconeri for knitwear and Atelier Emé for bridal wear. On 4 December 2023 the parent company, Calzedonia Group, was renamed Oniverse. Sandro Veronesi remains chairman and majority shareholder.

Products and positioning

Tezenis targets young, price conscious shoppers with basics and trend pieces in underwear and loungewear. Its offer includes:

  • Bras, briefs and shapewear
  • Pyjamas, nightwear and loungewear
  • Leggings, knitwear and thermal wear
  • Socks, tights and swimwear
  • Children's ranges and matching family sets

Promotions focus on multi pack deals for bras, underwear and T shirts. Collections highlighted on its site include Natural Lifting, Invisibile and soft tracksuits.

Business model and distribution

Tezenis follows the Oniverse model of single brand stores, run directly or through franchise partners, backed by national online shops and a mobile app. Across all of its brands the group operated more than 5,700 single brand stores in 55 countries in 2025. Tezenis Club, the brand's loyalty programme, offers points based discounts, a birthday discount and digital receipts in the app.

Why it matters

Tezenis gives Oniverse an entry price brand that competes with fast fashion retailers in underwear and loungewear, while sharing sourcing, logistics and store development with Calzedonia and Intimissimi. It shows how a group can segment one product category across several price levels with separate brands.
