Claudia Sträter is a Dutch women's fashion company with its headquarters in Diemen, near Amsterdam. It was formed in 1970 by the merger of Claudia Mode from Utrecht and Modehuis Sträter from the Kalverstraat in Amsterdam.
History
Joop Witteveen was the first director after the 1970 founding. In 2007 the company released a special collection designed by Jan Taminiau.

Claudia Sträter sells through its own stores. As of 2017 it had 29 stores, including five in Belgium and one in Luxembourg, with the rest in the Netherlands. Its outlet presence includes Designer Outlet Roosendaal.
The brand has an established presence in designer outlet centres, such as McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Roosendaal in the Netherlands, in addition to its high street stores. Its collaboration with Jan Taminiau, a Dutch couture designer, gave the chain a one-off designer collection in 2007.
