What is Elementy?
Elementy is a Polish fashion brand aimed at customers interested in conscious fashion and minimalism. Its garments are designed and sewn in Poland from good-quality fabrics. The brand emerged from the Transparent Shopping Collective, a group of designers built around three ideas: price transparency, production transparency and social capital.
History
In 2017 Elementy presented its collection in a pop-up store, Salon Elementy, in The Designer Gallery at Galeria Mokotów in Warsaw. In January 2023 the brand opened a boutique on the first floor of Westfield Mokotów, again in the Designer Gallery zone dedicated to Polish designers.
Products and positioning
Elementy offers a pared-back wardrobe of essentials with a focus on longevity rather than trends. A distinctive element of its model is that one per cent of the price of clothing sold goes to charitable organisations, and the brand promotes responsible consumption.
Why it matters
Elementy is one of the Polish labels that have built their identity on local production and openness about how and where clothes are made. Its presence in Warsaw's leading shopping centre shows how domestic designer brands with a sustainability positioning have moved from niche platforms into mainstream retail.
