Romanitza is the fashion house founded on 4 June 1991 by Romanița Iovan, a Romanian designer and businesswoman born in Bucharest in 1964. Before founding the house she worked for about six years as a model at the UCECOM Creation Centre, and she graduated from ASE Bucharest in 1991.
History
In 1994 the house won an award at the National Fashion Festival in Bucharest for standing apart from mass-produced collections. It has marked milestones with anniversary shows, including a 33-look collection titled "Waves" for its 33rd anniversary, and has presented collections at venues such as the Hotel Intercontinental in Bucharest.
