History
Tae Ashida studied at Le Rosey in Switzerland and at the Rhode Island School of Design in the United States. She made her collection debut in 1991, the year the brand was established. In 2018 she succeeded her father as creative director of the Jun Ashida brand, and the company marked its 60th anniversary in October 2023.
