History

Lezanne Viviers was born in Cape Town and trained in sculpture at the PJ Olivier Art School before graduating from the Elizabeth Galloway Academy of Fashion Design in 2010. From 2015 to 2018 she was creative director for Marianne Fassler, one of South Africa's best known designers, before setting up her own label.

Products and positioning

The label produces limited edition and made to measure garments defined by sculptural shapes. Its pieces are made from rare and reclaimed materials, and its design language draws on the Japanese idea of shokunin craftsmanship and the African philosophy of ubuntu. Collections blend art and fashion, masculine and feminine, and organic and industrial elements.
