History
The brand grew out of Grey Mer, a family company that has made shoes for more than forty years. The founders date the start to 3 June, the end of Italy's first COVID lockdown, which they regard as a symbolic beginning. The name combines the number three, for the sisters, with the French word for June, chosen to convey elegance and femininity.
Products and positioning
The first line included sandals, sneakers, loafers and pumps, made with perforated fabrics, very soft leathers and extralight soles. Models are named after flowers, among them Camelia, Rosa, Peonia and Giglio. The brand presents itself as young, cosmopolitan and innovative, with Milan as its point of reference.
Distribution
The brand sells through its own website and is active on Instagram. For production it uses 3D CAD design and a metal-detection scanner for quality checks.
