History
- 1973: boutiques open on the Côte d'Azur and in Marseille.
- 1984: a Paris boutique opens.
- 1987 and 1990: sunglasses and optical wear, then wristwatches, are added.
- 1988: a distribution agreement is signed with Nordstrom.
- 1993 and 1997: the first New York boutique opens, followed by two on the US West Coast.
- 1999: the women's range is released for general sale across Europe.
Ownership
In 2007 the Beirut-based holding company M1 Group agreed to buy Façonnable from Nordstrom for 152.985 million euros.
