What is Jaked?

Jaked is an Italian performance swimwear brand founded in 2008 by four partners and headquartered in northern Italy near Milan. It belongs to Pianoforte Holding, the group that also owns underwear brand Yamamay and bag brand Carpisa.

History

Jaked gained international attention at the 2009 World Swimming Championships in Rome, where many swimmers wore its J01 suit. The company credits polyurethane and full-body construction for the suit's impact. Italian champion Federica Pellegrini has represented the brand.

Products and positioning

The range is built around competition suits, such as the JKatana and the JKRONO line, and extends to training swimwear and equipment. Jaked also works with fabric specialist Carvico on its swimwear lines.
