What is Snugpak?
Snugpak is a British manufacturer of sleeping bags, insulated clothing and outdoor equipment. Its home since 1977 has been a nineteenth century mill in West Yorkshire, where its core products are still designed and made.
History
Snugpak began in 1977 as a small cottage industry making insulated vests. It introduced the Force 7 insulated jacket in 1980 and pack-size sleeping bags in 1988, and became a notable military supplier from 1990. The original owners retired in 2006. The company has received the Queen's Award for Enterprise twice, in 2002 and 2009.
