What is CaroCuore?
CaroCuore is an Argentine intimate apparel brand and has been described as the largest intimate fashion company in Argentina. It was founded in 1969 by Claudio and Adolfo Drescher and Rosa Pankiewicz.
History
The business started out making women's underwear and gradually broadened its range. In the late 1990s it was acquired by the investment fund Bisa. In 2017 the whole company was bought by L Catterton, the investment firm associated with LVMH, together with Francisco de Narváez, one of the owners of the Argentine fashion brand Rapsodia. Bisa, Rosa Pankiewicz and Adolfo Drescher exited as part of that transaction, and the new owners set out plans to grow the brand both in Argentina and internationally.
