History
- 1966 to 1971: Thomass sells designs to Dorothée Bis
- 1967: with her husband she opens a first boutique on Boulevard Saint Germain in Paris
- 1981 and around 1982: maternity wear and children's clothing are added
- 1985: a licensing partnership begins with Japan's World Co.
- 1995 to 1996: Thomass is removed from the label, which then goes bankrupt
- 1999: she regains the rights to her name and relaunches the label with backing from the Dim division of Sara Lee
Products and positioning
Licensed goods, sold mainly in Europe and Japan, included leather goods, tights, shoes, eyewear, watches and swimwear. At one point the brand had about a dozen boutiques across France. Thomass was named a Chevalier des Arts et Lettres.
