History

The parent company was established in 1987 as successor to earlier family garment businesses and began commercial operations in 1988. It took the name PT Ricky Putra Globalindo in 1996 and became a public company in 1997. Its factories are located in Citeureup, Bogor, and Cicalengka, Bandung, with a representative office in West Jakarta.

Products and positioning

GT Man focuses on men's underwear. The brand introduced men's seamless underwear in Indonesia, produced on what were described as the first seamless knitting machines in the country.
