Kachorovska is a Ukrainian shoe and accessories brand that grew out of a family shoemaking business. Creative director Alina Kachorovska and her husband Ruslan Ocheretiany are co-owners of Kacho Group, the company behind the brand.
History
The family business has its roots in Zhytomyr, where manufacturing remains based, while the workshop developed in Kyiv. In 2010 the first made to order shoe was accepted in Kyiv, and Ruslan Ocheretiany joined the business the same year. The first Kachorovska branded collection of shoes and bags was presented in 2013, marking the start of the eponymous brand.
Products and positioning
The brand began with shoes and bags and later added clothing. Its original workshop has evolved into a made to measure atelier, combining craft heritage with contemporary design. Kachorovska has also worked with fellow Ukrainian label Ksenia Schnaider on footwear such as leather cowboy boots.
Why it matters
Kachorovska takes part regularly in Ukrainian Fashion Week and has pursued international expansion, making it one of the most visible Ukrainian footwear names. In 2025 its owners also co-founded MISTRIKA, a contemporary art gallery in Kyiv.
