Mithridate is a Chinese luxury label that describes its territory as lying "between British Heritage and Chinese craftsmanship". Its design language references Savile Row tailoring alongside the influence of music and cinema, and it presents itself as a modern luxury house rather than a heritage brand.

Creative direction

Demon Zhang led the brand as its founding creative chief. In early 2025 the British designer Daniel Fletcher took over as creative director, bringing a London menswear perspective to the label.

Products and positioning

Under Demon Zhang, the Spring/Summer 2025 collection, titled Fusion, combined traditional craft from the ethnic minority heritage of Yunnan province with contemporary cuts. It featured structured gowns, voluminous capes, handcrafted velvet, loop knit textures, embroidery, Miao silver detailing, ice dyeing, bamboo weaving and beadwork, with prints referencing local spiritual motifs such as the tile cat.

The Spring/Summer 2026 range extended the offer into accessories and footwear, including:

Distribution

Mithridate has presented its work in Europe through a pop-up at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann in Paris.
