Vacheron Constantin is a Swiss haute horlogerie manufacture headquartered in Plan-les-Ouates in the canton of Geneva. It was founded in 1755 by independent Geneva watchmaker Jean-Marc Vacheron and is often called the oldest continuously operating watch manufacturer in the world. Together with Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet, it is counted among watchmaking's so-called Holy Trinity.
History
The luxury group Richemont acquired the entire share capital of the company in 1996. Over its long history the house has produced landmark complicated pieces, including the Reference 57260 pocket watch of 2015 with 57 complications and Les Cabinotiers, The Berkley Grand Complication, presented in 2024 with 63 complications.
