History
The brand was conceived in 2016 as a passion project led by Thai Quang, who was raised in Hanoi, together with two co-founders. Before launching, Thai spent around six months studying the fashion watch market in China. Curnon grew out of 2Guys1Box, a subscription box business he had co-founded earlier.
The first watch, a model called Kashmir, launched in December 2016. The team invested heavily in samples and prototypes before producing its first batch, and the initial run of 600 units sold out within about six weeks, prompting further production and plans for a unisex line.
